The College Executive Committee at Smt. Urmila Devi Mahavidhyalay serves as the key leadership and policy-making body of the institution. While the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) functions as the central body for quality planning, monitoring, and enhancement, the Executive Committee provides overall guidance, coordination, and strategic decision-making to ensure academic excellence, administrative efficiency, and institutional development.

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Policy Guidance – Provide policy direction to support IQAC-led quality initiatives and institutional improvement plans.
  2. Academic & Administrative Approvals – Approve major decisions regarding curriculum, faculty development, infrastructure, and student welfare programs.
  3. Coordination with Management – Act as a link between college management, faculty, and IQAC to ensure smooth implementation of developmental plans.
  4. Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to UGC norms, and statutory requirements.

Bridging Stakeholders – Facilitate communication and coordination among IQAC, management, faculty, and students to promote transparency and participatory governance.

Integration with Quality Initiatives
  • Supports IQAC projects and annual action plans to enhance teaching, learning, and research quality.
  • Monitors progress on institutional development goals and recommends improvements.
  • Provides oversight for student support programs, faculty development activities, and community engagement initiatives.
